Baobab promotes environmental protection, conservation, and the utilization of local tourism resources. Support through travel is a direct channel for lending a hand and by visiting the homes of endangered species and local communities, travellers acknowledge the importance of their well being and draw awareness to their plight. Our aim is to provide unique insight into local cultures and wildlife, whereby we create a platform from which our guests can learn about the challenges involved with conservation. Our partnership with the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, Save the Rhino and The AfriCat Foundation enables us to create inspirational travel itineraries, supportful of wildlife conservation, and local community enterprises. The key reason for the distinguished selection by these organisations is our unique exploratory approach to discovery expeditions, coupled with our conviction to support both wildlife conservation and community organisations. On select expeditions, travellers will have the rare opportunity to meet with Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, Save the Rhino and The AfriCat Foundation staff and learn more about their day to day activities.
